Sh Rashid Lamptey Profile
Sheikh Lamptey is a lifelong student of the Arabic language and Islamic studies. He holds an MA in Arabic Language and Islamic Studies from Omdurman Islamic University in Sudan and is working towards his MA in Islamic Studies and Christian-Muslim Relations from the Hartford Seminary. He has previously served as the Imam and Executive Director of Dar Al Noor, Muslim Association of Virginia, as well as Deputy Imam for the All Dulles Area Muslim Society. He also served as the Muslim Chaplain at the Veteran Hospital in Washington. DC. Ustadh Sheikh joined the Fawakih teaching team in 2013 and currently teaches intermediate and advanced Arabic.
